Job summary

A leading marketing firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Trade Marketing Manager to develop and execute their Trade Marketing Plan. The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in trade marketing. Fluency in Mandarin is essential to communicate effectively with clients, along with good communication skills in English. Responsibilities include improving brand presence and leading channel-specific strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and organizational skills, and excellent teamwork abilities.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Developing and executing the Trade Marketing Plan in line with sales and marketing objectives and managing the Trade Marketing budget
  • Improving brand presence and campaign execution across trade through excellence in in-store planning, execution, and tracking in alignment with the annual marketing priorities
  • Leading and implementing channel-specific marketing strategies and plans for assigned retailers
  • Conceptualizing and executing trade promotions and rolling out impactful in-store campaigns in collaboration with marketing and sales teams
  • Leading activation programs with partners to improve brand visibility
  • Visiting the points of sale regularly to ensure that the brand is visible, and guidelines are respected
  • To plan Joint Quarterly Marketing Plan
  • To plan Joint Business Plan, TTL, ATL, BTL Plan
  • To execute joint event planning: in-store, roadshows
  • Responsible to ensure that client interaction with Companyis conducted in a timely and satisfactory manner
  • Work closely with the cross-functional teams (e.g. Marketing, Operationand Supply Chain Management) to ensure efficient and effective execution
  • Continuously build market knowledge and refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years’ and above experience in trade marketing manager role
  • Minimum 1 year in managing Watsons/ Guardian Trade Marketing Plan
  • Minimum Diploma in Business Studies/ Marketing or any related discipline
  • Excellent Mandarin fluency both written and spoken is a must to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients
  • Good communication skills in English & Mandarin
  • Proven track record in similar position
  • Strong analytic skills
  • Good organization skills with the ability to handle multitasks concurrently and meet deadlines
