Job summary

A recruitment agency in Malaysia is seeking a Trade Marketing Executive to work with the Oil & Gas industry, specifically Shell Malaysia. This role requires a diploma and experience in Sales or Trade Marketing. The candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the Branded Independent Workshop Programmes, conducting market visits, and ensuring marketing support delivery. The role requires flexibility in hours and communication in English, Malay, and Mandarin. A driving license is also required for mobile work.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in any field is required.
  • Experience in Sales, Key Account Management, or Trade Marketing.
  • Experience in Lubricant Sales, Auto Sales Aftermarket, or FMCG sales is preferred.
  • Must possess a driving license.
  • Ability to work independently and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage performance of Branded Independent Workshop Programmes.
  • Conduct market visits outside KL.
  • Work closely with dedicated BIWS DSR to recruit and validate potential workshops.
  • Monitor planned marketing programs for subsegments.
  • Provide training and support for the BIWS channel.

Job Title: Branded Independent Workshop Business Development Executive

Duration : 1 year (renewable) contract

Client: Oil & Gas Industry - Shell Malaysia

The Branded Independent Workshop Business Development Executive (BIWS) reports to BIWS Channel Marketing Manager under the Lubricants Marketing Trade Marketing Team. BIWSHs will be based at B2Ci Distributor’s Offices and is responsible as company representatives to develop and manage the performance of Branded Independent Workshop Programmes.

Onboarding, delivery, and E2E execution of company's 2019 BIWS program structure

Work closely with dedicated BIWS DSR to recruit, shortlist potential workshops for conversion and provide business case justification and validation of potential

Develop and monitor planned marketing programs for each subsegment

Monitor and track performance to ensure ROI on BIWS channel

Delivery of marketing support for BIWS channel including BIWS Training, BIWS signage, BIWS uniforms

Ensure merchandising as per company standards

Training and professional service delivery to meet the company’s Service Standards

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Candidate must have at least a diploma in any field

Sales/ Key Account Manager/Sales Manager or Trade Marketing/Channel Marketing

Sales/Marketing/Business/Engineering

Previous exposure to Lubricant Sales or Auto Sales Aftermarket or FMCG (cigarettes, consumer goods) salesforce

Mobile and willing to work flexible hours

Comfortable to operate independently

Driving License

English/Malay/Mandarin speaker to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

The candidate will need to conduct market visits outside KL but will be based out of HQ at KL.
