Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform fitting and welding tasks using the TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) method for furniture and related metal items.
• Carry out TIG welding on aluminum components, ensuring precision, strength, and high-quality finishes.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine job requirements.
• Ensure proper handling and safe operation of mechanical tools and equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
• Perform repairs, modifications, and overhauls of components as required by project specifications.
• Weld components in various positions including flat, vertical, and overhead, while maintaining quality standards.
• Inspect welds to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to company safety and environmental policies.

Requirements

• Possess at least a Certificate or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Metal Fabrication, Tool and Die, TIG Welding, or equivalent).
• Strong welding and mechanical skills with the ability to fit and assemble products according to drawings.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Hands-on experience in piping works is an advantage.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience in a similar field.
• Preferably Non-Executive level candidates specializing in Welding, Piping, or related disciplines.
