Job description

Overview

Purpose Statement: To ensure the quality and reliability of Plexus products by meticulously operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining test equipment. Through collaborative problem-solving and continuous learning, strive to maintain efficient testing processes, identify and resolve product defects, and ultimately contribute to exceeding customer expectations and supporting Plexus's commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Develops / executes Manufacturing solutions / provide services that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements while establishing an area of technical specialty (in-discipline) and applies process improvement or troubleshooting as it applies to their role.
• Utilizes appropriate tools to perform necessary work including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes or production as it applies to their role.
• Demonstrates an intermediate, discipline-specific understanding of how they support the full Plexus Manufacturing processes / Product Requirements & Specifications / cross discipline OR supplier coordination, as it applies to their role.
• Successfully executes responsibilities independently in accordance with good manufacturing practices and Plexus' Manufacturing Processes and provide support to direct production line operators as it applies to their role.
• Comprehensive Understanding of Equipment / Process control / Safety / Risk Awareness / setup awareness / operation of, as it applies to their role.

Education/Experience Qualifications

• A minimum of an Associate's degree OR the completion of a Diploma in a discipline related to Electronics / Manufacturing / Engineering or Science
• Minimum One (1) year of related experience is required.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
