A global eye care leader is seeking a Technician II to operate molding automation efficiently in Johor, Malaysia. Responsibilities

• Perform optical tool inspection, assembly, PON set-up, targeting, line clearance, mechanical and negative checks, UV readings and PON changeover.
• Handle molding automation operations and ensure all documentation is in proper record.
• Perform mold cosmetic inspection and bubble check on dry lens.
• Ensure compliance with Alcon Code of Business Conducts.
• Comply with Data Integrity procedures and requirements.
• Observe and ensure compliance with Health Safety and Environment Standards.

Technician II supporting Molding Production will be trusted to operate the molding automation efficiently according to SOPs and document effectively per Good Documentation Practices in meeting the quality and planned output at Johor, Malaysia. In this role, a typical day will include:

Responsibilities:

• Perform optical tool inspection, assembly, PON set‑up, targeting, line clearance, mechanical and negative checks, UV readings and PON changeover.
• Handle molding automation operations in responsible to faults and ensure all the documentation are in proper record.
• Perform mold cosmetic inspection and bubble check on dry lens.
• Adherence to Alcon Values & Behaviors, observe and ensure full compliance with Alcon Code of Business Conducts.
• Fully comply to Data Integrity procedure and requirements.
• Observe and ensure full compliance with Alcon Health Safety and Environment Standards.
