Job description

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Technician - Building, Facilities & Utilities to join our team at Angenet Sdn Bhd (Spritzer Berhad Yong Peng Branch) in Yong Peng, Johor. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the company's building infrastructure, facilities, and utilities.

What you'll be doing

Perform daily inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on all plant utility systems (water treatment, filtration, compressed air, refrigeration, HVAC).

Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults, and execute effective repairs to minimize downtime.

Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and system upgrades.

Strictly follow all safety protocols, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment.

Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and spare parts inventory records using our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

Collaborate with production and quality teams to identify and implement operational improvements.

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Technician or in a similar building maintenance role

Strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related infrastructure

Proficient in the use of tools and equipment required for building and facilities maintenance

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals

Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams

Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
