Overview

Join Yeow Jih Industries Sdn. Bhd., a leading engineering and manufacturing company, as a Technical Supervisor / Technical Leader based in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. This full-time position oversees technical operations and maintenance activities to ensure the smooth functioning of equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan and supervise the daily maintenance activities of technical teams, who service customers' equipment at customers' factory.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimise equipment downtime and maximise productivity.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, and oversee repair and maintenance work carried out by the technical team.
• Liaise with the production team to ensure maintenance activities are aligned with operational requirements.
• Monitor and analyse equipment performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Provide technical guidance and training to the maintenance team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with the management team to optimise maintenance strategies and processes.

What we\'re looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical supervisory or leadership role within the engineering or manufacturing industry.
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of maintenance principles, equipment troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team of technical personnel.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders. Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin (speaking & writing) since need to liaise with China working partners.
• Knowledge of relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
