A leading provider of innovative chemical solutions in Malaysia is seeking a Technical Sales Executive. This role combines technical expertise with sales responsibilities, including managing key accounts, promoting products, and providing technical guidance. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and have 1-2 years of experience in technical sales. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential. Fluency in English and other languages is preferred.
Krischem Sdn Bhd is seeking for a technically competent and customer-oriented Technical Sales Executive to support and grow our business in the Personal Care, Home Care, Institutional & Industrial(I&I) and Glove industries. This role combines technical expertise with sales responsibilities, providing formulation support, application guidance and process troubleshooting while driving sales growth, managing key accounts and expanding product peneration
Manage and grow key customers accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships and customers satisfaction
Identify and develop new customers, markets and business opportunities
Promote and sell company products and solutions , achieving assigned sales targets and KPIs
Expand product SKU penetration within existing accounts through cross-selling and up-selling
Prepare sales proposals, quotation and commercial negotiations in coordination with management
Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to support business strategy
Provide technical advise and solutions to customers on products selection, usage and performance
Support customers with formulation guidance, including ingredient selection and optimization
Conduct product application trials, lab demonstrations and on-site evaluations
Conduct process troubleshooting/investigations to assist customers resolve formulation, production or quality issues
Develop prototypes, samples and benchmark formulations to support customer projects
Assist customers in scaling up from lab to pilot and production level
Conduct regular customer visits, technical presentations and product training sessions
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities and technical reports
Preferably with Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Applied Science or related scientific discipline
1-2 years of experience in technical sales or application support (industry-related experience preferred)
Technical knowledge of personal care, home care, I&I, latex/glove or specialty chemical formulations will be an added advantage
Hands-on experience in formulation, lab work and customer trials is a strong advantage
Good problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot process and application issues
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently, travel as required and manage multiple accounts
Proficient in Microsoft Office(Words, Excel, Power Point)
Self-motivated, responsible and wiling to learn
Fluent in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia
Strong verbal and written communication skills
