Technical Sales Engineer ( Malaysia, South East Asia )
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving sales of our technical products and solutions by providing pre‑sales support, technical expertise, and product demonstrations to customers in Malaysia & South East Asia countries.
Responsibilities
- Develop new accounts and distribution channels and service centres within allocated geographical territory
- Supply technical back‑up and training to customers on Industrial Tools products
- Maintain and increase market share of designated areas
- Achieve the monetary and unit sales targets as set out annually by the Business Manager
- Identify new business and applications
- Maintain and apply accurate follow‑up schedule
- Attend road shows, and deliver product demonstrations, launches and presentations to selected customers
- Keep self continually updated on product market and competition development and activities
- Plan and execute daily call routing to maximise time management
- Carry out any special tasks and duties allocated by Business Manager
- Perform capability demonstrations
- Maintain rapport with customers
- Participate in internal communication
Qualifications
- Preferably a diploma or degree in engineering (mechanical & electrical or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of experience and knowledge in reliability/metrology products
- Highly motivated, result‑oriented with positive attitude, perseverance and sense of urgency towards work
- Willing to learn diverse product lines
- Excellent written and verbal English & Bahasa Malaysia communication skills
