Position Summary
The Tearista is the heart of our store operations. You are responsible for crafting our signature beverages with precision, speed, and consistency. Your primary goal is to ensure every customer receives a delicious, high-quality drink that meets Momoyo’s strict standards, while providing friendly and efficient service that enhances their experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Beverage Preparation & Quality Control
- Accurately prepare a wide range of Momoyo beverages, including milk teas, fruit teas, bubble teas, slushes, and our signature ice cream creations, following standardized recipes and procedures.
- Cook pearls (tapioca balls), jellies, and other toppings to perfection, ensuring ideal texture and flavor.
- Operate and maintain all beverage equipment safely and correctly (e.g., tea brewers, shakers, blenders, sealing machines, sugar dispensers).
- Conduct regular taste and quality checks to ensure every product meets Momoyo’s high standards before serving to customers.
- Manage inventory of ingredients, ensuring freshness by adhering to first-in-first-out (FIFO) principles and monitoring expiry dates.
2. Customer Service & Sales
- Greet every customer with a warm, friendly, and welcoming attitude.
- Guide customers through the menu, make personalized recommendations, and answer questions knowledgeably.
- Accurately process customer orders using the POS (Point-of-Sale) system and handle cash and digital payments correctly.
- Work efficiently during peak hours to minimize customer wait times without compromising on quality.
3. Store Operations & Cleanliness
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards in all work areas, including the front counter, preparation station, and backroom.
- Perform daily opening and closing duties, including equipment setup/breakdown, ingredient prep, and cleaning tasks.
- Ensure the work environment is always tidy, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Restock ingredients, cups, lids, and other supplies as needed.
4. Teamwork
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
- Support colleagues during busy periods and contribute to a positive, supportive, and energetic team atmosphere.
- Communicate openly with the Store Manager regarding inventory needs, equipment issues, and customer feedback.
