Team Lead, Transaction Banking Corporate & Commercial Cash Sales

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead to join RHB Banking Group. In this leadership role, you will have full ownership of Cash & Merchant business origination for an assigned portfolio, driving revenue growth, market share expansion, and deeper client penetration across Corporate and Commercial segments. You will lead and coach a team of sales professionals, collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, and provide senior oversight on complex cash solutions while ensuring strong governance, risk discipline, and sustainable growth.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead, Transaction Banking Corporate & Commercial Cash Sales to join RHB Banking Group. In this leadership role, you will have full ownership of Cash & Merchant business origination for an assigned portfolio, driving revenue growth, market share expansion, and deeper client penetration across Corporate and Commercial segments. You will lead and coach a team of sales professionals, collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, and provide senior oversight on complex cash solutions while ensuring strong governance, risk discipline, and sustainable growth.

What you will be doing
  • Own and drive Cash & Merchant business origination for assigned Corporate & Commercial portfolios.
  • Grow new cash revenue, market share, and operating account penetration.
  • Drive deposit growth (CA) through close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Enhance usage and upsell Transaction Banking products and services to existing clients.
  • Lead, manage, and coach a sales team to execute strategies and achieve financial targets.
  • Provide guidance on complex cash management solutions and structured deals.
  • Govern pipeline quality, forecasting, deal origination, and execution standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including GCBB, CCM, Product Squads, Operations, and Treasury.
  • Review client value propositions, proposals, and bundled solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, report progress, and support Circle Lead in executing campaigns and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Bank Negara Malaysia, internal policies, audit standards, and risk appetite requirements.
What we’re looking for
  • More than 10 years of relevant experience in Transaction Banking / Cash Sales.
  • Minimum 5 years in a supervisory or managerial sales role.
  • Strong practitioner‑level knowledge of Cash Management products (Trade knowledge is an added advantage).
  • Proven ability to manage a sales team independently and deliver revenue targets.
  • Strong track record in opportunity scoping, pipeline management, and deal closure.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively with senior management and key decision‑makers.
  • CDCS certification is an added advantage.
