Job summary

A leading energy firm located in Kulim, Kedah, is seeking a Tax Manager to ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage audits. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 2-3 years of experience in corporate tax, preferably in Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is essential for liaising with stakeholders. Strong skills in tax legislation and accounting are required, along with experience in using ERP systems. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in corporate tax.
• Experience within a Malaysian corporate environment or an accounting firm is preferred.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA Australia, or CTIM is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file timely and accurate corporate tax returns.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations set by the IRBM.
• Manage tax payments and audits.
• Conduct research on tax issues and changes in legislation.
• Support the finance team with accounting activities.
