Our client, an established MNC building materials company in Malaysia, is currently looking for a creative and highly driven candidate to fill the position of Tax Executive, based in Subang Jaya.

Job Summary
This position is responsible for the preparation of accurate and reliable management, tax and financial reports.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support country-level tax projects and processes, reporting directly to the Head of Tax.
- Support the preparation of accurate and reliable management, tax and financial reports
- Support local and international tax reporting requirements.
- Assist with the preparation and revision of tax estimates.
- Assist with the local and international tax reporting
- Prepare annual corporate tax returns for the Group and manage monthly tax instalments.
- Assist with the preparation of documentary work relating to corporate secretarial, auditor and other regulatory matters (e.g. transfer pricing reports, tax audits)
- Liaise with external tax agents, auditors, and relevant authorities.
- Handle indirect tax matters, including SST and GST compliance and reporting
- Supporting CFC reporting to overseas countries
- Ensure compliance requirements are met through organizational and procedural measures including implementation of Group guidelines, performing trainings, monitoring compliance etc.
- Promote and support health, safety, and compliance practices in line with company policies.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- Minimum a professional Certificate, Bachelor Degree in Finance/ Accountancy or equivalent.
- At least 3 - 5 years working experience in Corporate Tax or related field.
- To comply with all aspects of the Company Compliance Policy.
- Comply with company policies, HR procedures, ISO standards, and relevant laws and regulations.
- Adhere to Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) requirements and company HSE policies.
- Support and comply with OH&S management system and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Report workplace, machinery, or commuting incidents promptly to management.
- Participate in required training and development programs.
