Work you will do

You will work alongside our clients to help them make decisions and implement solutions based on "Heart of the Business" strategy development to drive business value. You will also assist in determining the requirements of clients’ projects and programs by defining, analyzing, and managing requirements to help fulfill their needs. You will have the opportunity to exercise strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the chance to solve complex problems and communicate your findings. Finally, you will work independently and collaboratively in a team.

You will support our clients in their transformation journey by

• Plans and oversees the evaluation of existing systems or new developments and identification of systems requirements;
• Manages the gathering and assessing of technical requirements to be translated into functional design documents for optimal systems solutions;
• Recommends appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems;
• Oversees the preparation of communications and makes presentations to stakeholders on opportunities and constraints of processes and systems;
• Coordinates resource assignment, prioritises projects and monitors progress;
• Applies critical thinking toward examining systems and design requirements, arriving at sound decisions and solutions;
• Communicates ideas persuasively and sustains positive relationships with team members and other stakeholders;

Analyses business processes including:

• Reviewing existing business processes to identify opportunities;
• Identifying alternative solutions to streamline processes;
• Assessing feasibility of alternative solutions;
• Establishing requirements for the implementation of changes in the business processes;
• Recommending approaches to increase efficiency;
• Presenting recommended changes on business processes to stakeholders to garner support;

Translates business requirements into technical specification including:

• Translating business requirements into technical specifications;
• Guiding the team to gather and document existing system specifications;
• Developing a roadmap to translate existing system specifications into future‑state system requirements;
• Collaborating with the design and development teams to support in building the future‑state systems;
• Validating the alignment of solutions with business requirements;
• Anticipating risks associated with solution integration;
• Guiding the design and development team towards a smooth solution integration;

Facilitates change management including:

• Overseeing the development of technical documentation and training materials;
• Maintaining communication channels with stakeholders to update on changes and ensure user buy‑in;
• Overseeing user training to facilitate adoption of new systems;

Scoping out statement of works, setting clear expectations of deliverables and exclusions from the project;

Defining roles and responsibilities of project members;

Maintaining the overall project plan and timelines of activities;

Managing compliance of the project deliverables related to cost, time and quality standards;

Working with users, technical staff and management to determine and resolve issues associated with project implementation;

Conducting regular project reviews to recommend schedule changes, cost or resource adjustments.

Build and support including:

• Attaining Epic certification in assigned modules and performing build‑related activities to meet the agreed requirements;
• Troubleshooting and resolving Production issues.

You are someone with:

• Tertiary qualification in a business or finance discipline with a well ranked institution and/or currently enrolled in a MBA program.
• Adaptability and flexibility with respect to changing end‑user business needs;
• Critical thinking and willingness to see things in an open‑minded way and examine an idea or concept from as many angles as possible;
• Dependability and willingness to take ownership of work activities and ensure that they are completed in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner;
• Initiative to recognize assignments or tasks that need to be completed, to seek out additional assignments or tasks, and to help others;
• Interpersonal skills, particularly within the user group with which they will work to facilitate decisions and find solutions even amidst disagreeing stakeholders;
• Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely with project leadership and subject matter experts;
• Willingness to learn new software and systems;
• Listening attentively to ensure that the intended message has been accurately received, holding responses until the person has finished making his point, and repeating information to ensure accuracy;
• Seeking, logically examining, and interpreting information from different sources to determine a problem’s cause and developing a course of action to resolve the problem and to prevent its recurrence;
