Overview

We are seeking an experienced System Engineer to join our growing team at CMA Solutions Sdn Bhd. You will be responsible for the efficient and reliable operation of our company's information technology infrastructure. This is a full-time position based in Subang Jaya, Selangor.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and maintain the company's server infrastructure, including Windows, Linux and cloud-based systems
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and implement proactive measures to ensure optimal uptime
• Administer user accounts, permissions and access controls
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures
• Implement and maintain network security measures, such as firewalls, VPNs and intrusion detection systems
• Provide technical support and training to end-users
• Collaborate with the IT team to plan and execute system upgrades, migrations and new deployments
• Document and maintain up-to-date system configurations and processes

What we're looking for

• At least 3 years of experience as a System Administrator/Engineer or in a similar IT operations role
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux and cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Proficient in managing and troubleshooting network infrastructure, including switches, routers and firewalls
• Experience with system monitoring, backup and disaster recovery tools and proceduresFamiliarity with security best practices and the ability to implement and maintain security measures
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
