A leading technology company in Subang Jaya seeks a Supply Chain Management Executive on a 4-6 months contract. This role involves collaboration with sales and marketing to forecast demand, optimize inventory, and ensure compliance with import/export regulations. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a relevant field and a minimum of 3 years' experience in logistics. Knowledge of SAP is a plus. Job description
Supply Chain Management Executive (4-6 months contract)

Collaborating with Sales & Marketing to develop accurate demand by leveraging buying pattern and inventory holding while continuously adapting to changing conditions on supply, while maintaining optimal inventory levels through the implementation of inventory control thru Pre-Plan and regular ISM meeting, including slow moving monitoring, contingency measures and continuous direct drop shipment besides identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization within the supply chain plus promoting cross-functional collaboration and effective communication across departments, among channel partners and vendors to achieve supply chain objectives.

Job Accountabilities
Demand and Supply Management

Monitor and forecast demand and supply accurately working together with Product Managers/Business Units.

Incorporate in-depth understanding of past, current, and future developments / factors in forecasting future requirements.

Set limits for and prepare forecasts buy in.

Plan to ensure and maintain optimal inventory levels.

Set guidelines for optimal inventory levels.

Establish processes to track inventory levels across products, in the immediate and long term.

Synchronize supply chain activities.

Integrate processes across stakeholders to ensure information visibility in customer demand, supply / anticipated productions, material-in-transit.

Trade Management

Ensure compliance with international and local laws, related to import and export activities.

Demonstrate understanding of tax and process regulatory requirements, related to import and export activities.

Liaise with representatives from import / export companies to ensure expectations are met.

Adherence on Epson’s Security Trade Control and related documentations compliance and procedure

Responsible for Customs, MITI, SIRIM etc. related matters

Rework of Epson products with third party service providers.

Inventory and Reporting

Prepare management reports relating to sales, gross margin, logistics and inventory analysis.

Timely pricing update in SAP, process stock devaluation/write off and variance report reconciliations.

Assist in managing manpower for half yearly stock-take at 3PL warehouse.

Application of MDMS Codes for promotional items and bundling codes, as well on other SAP T-Codes on SOD.

Prepare and task on all operations transactional activities related to Demand and Supply reporting.

Support and assist the Finance team on inventory related enquiries from internal and external auditors.

Responsible for developing of internal control policies and procedure for inventory management and supply chain operation.

Work with Product Management team to produce consolidated inventory forecasting report which will help EMSB in managing inventory effectively as per KPI set in the annual BP/FCx

Written-off Products and Disposal

Manage disposal / scrapping of written-off products operations and transaction, accordingly to write-off approval and procedure on policies.

Manage filing of all disposal evidence for audit purpose.

Alignment, Collaboration, and Information Updates

Assist and support SCM strategy for local in country implementation including Project HKK initiative.

Provide SCM Manager with country insights and local regulatory information.

Frequent updates to SCM Manager on all areas in logistics, freights, import/export, customs, taxes, HS Codes, SIRIM, labelling requirement and sustainability management.

Collate and preparation of information for reports to SCM Manager and in country requirement.

Participate in ad hoc and project initiatives.

Key Job Requirements

Minimum 3 years in Logistics environment

Analytical and presentation skills with strong knowledge in supply chain operations.

SAP application knowledge for SD and MM modules will be advantage.

Adverse knowledge in governing bodies, procedures, and regulatory rules & policies
