Job summary

A leading food manufacturer in Selangor, Malaysia, is looking for a Supplier Quality Specialist. This role involves conducting supplier quality audits, establishing and maintaining quality programs, and collaborating with R&D on material specifications. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 2 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry, emphasizing food safety and quality audits. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in food manufacturing and quality audits.

Job description

Conduct Supplier Quality Audits and follow up its closure.

Establish and maintain Supplier Quality CPAR Program.

Support Supplier Quality Performance Scorecard and ensure follow ups for under performed suppliers.

Collaborate with R&D for Raw Materials Specifications and establish materials specification on Addendum.

Coordinate Materials Monitoring Program to ensure samples are taken timely and follow up on reports and evaluation.

Support in troubleshooting on Supplier Quality Issue.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree for Food Science, Food Technology, Manufacturing, Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology or related field.
• At least 2 years of working experience, preferably in Food Manufacturing environment, food safety and quality audits.
• Able to communicate with stakeholders from different background.
• Independent and able to work under pressure.
