Overview
Assist the Operation Manager in site General Cleaning activities and to prevent any mishaps from happening which could affect the daily operation.
Responsibilities
- To assist Manager/Supervisor to coordinate and arrange manpower and equipment needed to carry out duties.
- Safely transporting company staff as well as various products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
- Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking to avoid towing.
- Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance.
- Providing accurate time records of the company vehicle’s coming and goings.
- Reporting any accidents, injuries and vehicle damage to management.
- To inspect work performed to ensure conformance to specifications and establish standards.
- To train cleaners in janitorial methods and procedures and proper operation of equipment.
- Issues cleaners with necessary cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure work quality and timely delivery of services.
- To always inform manager on the progress of each work given by them. To report and consult on any incidents and matters to the executive before making decisions.
- To make sure all staff under the care of Team Leader reports to him upon completion of each task given. To set a minimum and maximum timeline on all given task and make sure it has been monitored accordingly.
- To attend to complaint or arrange cleaners to attend to it.
- Fully involved in daily operation and all ad hoc and major cleaning schedule events as well as periodic cleaning such as Floor Scrubbing/buffing, High Pressure Wash, Pipe leakage Cleaning, Sanitation and Space Sterilization as per instruction from management.
- Carry out any other assignment as assigned by management from time to time.
- To monitor, manage and care for company’s assets (eg machinery, equipment and tools) that assigned for his/her site usage.
- To monitor, manage and care for company’s hostel that allocated for his/her or his/her team to stay (if any).
Authorities
- To report Zone Executive / Operation Manager if any staff found violating company rules.
- Issue reminder to cleaners to follow daily work schedule, periodic work schedule & HSE procedure.
- Authorized to issue stop work order to cleaners or Sub-contractor in relation to HSE violation.
Position Specifications
- Qualification: GDL Driving License
- Minimum 1 year experience in operation & cleaning related industry.
- Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of O&M standard practice.
- Required: Able to lead a small group of employees and provide necessary guidance and direction.
- Interact well with personnel at all levels within the organization, supplier.
- Ability to read/write in Bahasa Malaysia.
- Demonstrate responsible behavior and independence.
