Supervisor
Responsibilities
- To be an ambassador for the represented Brand and portray at all times a professional and customer-oriented image.
- To provide excellent customer service while achieving sales target set.
- To perform stock replenishment and price tagging whenever required.
- Ensure that monthly sales targets are achieved for the store.
- Conduct daily, monthly stock count for all stores.
Requirements
- Passion for selling.
- Customer service oriented.
- Comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be comfortable to retail hours (shift work, weekends and Public Holidays).
- Candidate must possess at least SPM, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
- Required language: English and Bahasa Melayu.
Assistant Store Manager
As an Assistant Store Manager, you are expected to..
- Assist in leading the Store by representing the Brand and driving its initiatives whilst aligning to Valiram procedures and quest for excellence.
- Oversee all aspects of store performance through sales management, operational excellence and people leadership, as well as store visual aesthetics and environment.
- Maintain inventory integrity – minimize stock losses & ensure monthly (& daily if necessary) stock counts.
- Foster a positive, engaging and ethical working environment.
- Drive the Sales and maximize Profitability.
- Execute the main sales initiatives of the Brand.
- Daily, weekly and monthly action plan to deliver the expected sales results.
- Analyse sales figures, monitor expenses to optimize sales and profits.
- Optimize the duty rosters to ensure proper floor coverage, maximise sales whilst minimizing payroll expenses.
- Achieve High Service Standards.
- Lead the team and put in place appropriate action to offer a WOW Service experience to the customer.
- Provide continuous coaching to floor staff on customer service, selling skills, product knowledge, etc. to ensure the highest level of service is achieved.
- Maintain Best Retail Standards.
- Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures and ensure the process is in compliance with company SOPs.
- Ensure proper care of stocks, fixtures and furniture within the store, and keep them neatly and tidy at all times.
- Ensure visual merchandising is implemented efficiently.
- Lead the recruitment process for front line staff and work together with relevant HR Dept. to successfully close the vacant positions in the store.
- Conduct staff appraisal and quarterly performance review.
- Provide specific development for the Assistant Store Manager and Supervisor by assigning accountabilities and training with consistent follow up and feedback.
Requirements
- Candidates must possess at least a Secondary School/SPM/'O' Level, Higher Secondary/STPM/'A' Level/Pre-U, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, any field.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
- Capable candidates with a strong proven track record in achieving team sales and team management will have an added advantage.
- Good interpersonal skills, strong leadership qualities and proactive.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the retail field is required for this position.
- Preferably Managers specializing in Fashion Sales - Retail/General or equivalent.
