Job summary

A leading procurement organization in Malaysia seeks a Production Planner to coordinate and schedule parts procurement and manufacturing. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in production planning and strong analytical skills. Responsibilities include executing purchase orders and maintaining schedules to ensure on-time delivery. This role demands effective communication and teamwork capabilities, along with a thorough understanding of MRP within an ERP system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in Production Planning and Vendor Scheduling.
• Minimum 3 years experience working with an ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Execute MPS
• Review new orders and bookings daily
• Execute Purchase Orders for material procurement
• Generate and Maintain Foundry/CM Schedules
• Generate and maintain accurate Customer OTD (on time delivery)
• Measure and Monitor OTD
• Measure and monitor late backlog
• Maintain master data - planning
