Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Malaysia is seeking a Project Costing & Sourcing Senior Executive, responsible for sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating pricing, and coordinating with teams to meet technical requirements. Ideal candidates should have a relevant degree, at least five years of sourcing experience, and strong skills in negotiation, analysis, and communication. The role offers opportunities to contribute to cost reduction and supplier development initiatives, supporting a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of sourcing or purchasing experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Minimum 5 years in managerial role if application for manager position.
• Knowledge of LMW (Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse) and import/export procedures is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate new suppliers for tooling, raw materials, mechanical and electrical components.
• Request, compare, and analyze supplier quotations.
• Negotiate pricing and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality teams.
