Job summary

A leading energy firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Business Development Manager to manage client relationships and lead the RFQ process. This role involves engaging with clients, identifying new market opportunities, and responding to inquiries effectively. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree, at least 5 years in the oil & gas industry, and excellent communication skills. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in oil & gas industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end RFQ process with clients.
  • Lead face-to-face engagements with clients to discuss requirements.
  • Develop and manage strategic customer relationships.
  • Identify and assess new business opportunities in emerging markets.
  • Prepare and respond to technical and commercial inquiries.
  • Proactively engage with key decision-makers at corporate levels.
  • Continuously monitor competitor products and market trends.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Strong background in technical sales and oilfield technologies

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent
