A logistics company in Malaysia is seeking a candidate for inventory management. The role involves receiving and verifying goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and organizing materials. Ideal candidates should have at least a Certificate/Diploma in Logistic/Supply Chain Management, experience in warehousing, and strong organizational skills. Applicants must be physically fit to manage moving goods. Responsibilities include stock issuing and assisting in audits, ensuring smooth operation within logistics.
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes
Organize and store materials and products in designated locations
Maintain accurate inventory records (manual or system-based)
Issue stock according to approved requests and ensure proper documentation
Conduct regular stock counts and assist in stock audits
Monitor stock levels and report low or excess inventory to management
Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of goods
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the store area
Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and service departments
Prepare reports related to inventory movement and stock status
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least Certificate/Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Logistic/Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
Basic Maths & Computer Knowledge.
Experience in storekeeping, warehousing, or inventory management.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
Physically fit to handle lifting and moving of goods.
