A leading logistics company in Malaysia is seeking a Store Coordinator to oversee store processes and manage resources effectively. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain & Logistics with strong management and computer skills. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulations, managing inventory, and implementing quality control measures. Oversees the Store process and coordinates all activities to ensure enough resources on hand. Responsible for planning workers' schedules, estimate cost and prepare budgets to ensure workflow meets required deadlines.
Manage and evaluate resources to ensure productivity and maximise the productivity.
Oversee proper packaging, labeling, and documentation for outgoing shipments.
Maintain accurate inventory records using appropriate software/systems.
Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety rules and regulations.
Implement and enforce strict material handling procedures to prevent damage or loss.
Supervise the kitting process for production orders, ensuring accurate assembly of required materials.
Coordinate with logistics providers to arrange timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and documentation requirements.
Communicate any problems or obstacles to Management.
Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programmes;
Implement space control measures to prevent overcrowding and maintain clear aisles.
To review Store performance, delivering requirement and expectation are fulfilled.
Implement and promote 5S principles for a clean and organized store environment.
Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to prevent workplace accidents and ensure employee well-being.
Identify training needs for subordinate.
Diploma / Degree in any field related with Supply Chain & Logistics Industry
Management skill and knowledge in Logistics & Store
Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, such as Power Point, Word, and Excel
Able to work under pressure
