The AGV Role

A warehouse assistant plays a vital role in the logistics process by ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods within the warehouse. This role will give you opportunities for skill development and career growth within the AGV industry with training given by Decathlon and a commitment to safety and sustainability.

Job Description

1. Cover in the warehouse operations activities such as Receiving, Picking and Packing, and Loading bay to ensure on-time and accurate delivery of order within KPI is met.
2. To check incoming orders and plan / organize packing for daily pick-up by performing data entry.
3. Prepare orders by processing requests, replenishment activity, picking and packing boxes, placing orders in the loading bay area and other necessary documents for shipment.
4. Ensure goods are stored in the consolidation area according to the customer’s location (store).
5. Ensure the safe and efficient moving and handling of all items during picking, loading, reception and stocking to avoid any damages or injuries.
6. To ensure all goods received (reception) are neatly arranged with proper segregation (by nature of sports).
7. Complete and update reports by entering required information timely and accurately into the daily panel information.
8. Adopt good housekeeping and overall safety practice to achieve a well-organized, optimized space utilization and safe-working environment.
9. To monitor stock on hand and investigate the root cause of stock discrepancy reported by internal customers and initiate corrective action.
10. Work closely with the other teammates and manager to ensure daily activities are completed without delay and to ensure day-to-day activities are carried out systematically.
11. Operates reach-truck and pallet runner.
12. Problem Solving ability to solve the issue with quick solution, accurate and effective including identifying and fixing AGV related problems.
13. Ad-hoc mission and activities in warehouse.
