ServAuto is rapidly expanding across workshops, partner platforms, and new service categories. We are looking for an Operations Lead (Chief of Staff)/ COO's Office who acts as the COO’s execution partner — someone who can drive new projects, coordinate teams, solve operational issues quickly, and turn plans into smooth, on-ground execution.
This is not a routine admin or SOP-only role.
This is a project-driven, action-focused leadership role that ensures ServAuto’s strategic initiatives are delivered on time and at high quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate COO’s directives into clear project plans with timelines and deliverables.
- Drive cross-functional execution for major initiatives (e.g., Carsome collaborations, new service categories, new partner workshops, new product rollouts).
- Track progress daily and remove roadblocks to ensure timely delivery.
COO Support & Decision Execution
- Serve as the COO’s operational extension — ensuring decisions become actions.
- Clarify, assign, and follow up on tasks across teams.
- Provide structured updates, reports, and insights to the COO.
- Make sure no action item or follow-up is missed.
Cross-Department Coordination
- Act as the main connector between BD, CS, Ops, Logistic, Warehouse, Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
- Ensure information flows clearly and all teams understand their responsibilities.
- Prevent miscommunication and delays during execution.
- Ensure readiness and alignment before launching new projects or campaigns.
Operational Problem-Solving
- Quickly troubleshoot issues (missing orders, workshop errors, delays, fulfilment gaps).
- Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve fast and permanently.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend practical, preventive solutions.
Light Process Structuring (Non-Technical)
- Use simple tools (sheets, trackers, checklists) to support project execution and accountability.
- Ensure teams follow basic processes, especially during rollout of new services or products.
Partner & Expansion Support
- Assist in onboarding new workshops, ensuring readiness for service delivery.
- Coordinate stock preparation, training schedules, QC requirements, and launch setup.
- Work with BD to strengthen workshop performance and compliance.
Success Metrics
- Timely and successful launch of new projects.
- High execution rate of COO’s directives (>95%).
- Faster problem resolution and reduced repeat issues.
- Strong workshop readiness and performance during new rollouts.
Requirements
Must-Have
- Strong experience in operations, project management, or chief-of-staff roles.
- Proven track record of driving cross-functional projects successfully.
- Excellent organisational skills and follow-through discipline.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-change environments.
- Ownership mentality — proactive, dependable, gets things done.
Good-to-Have
- Experience in startups, automotive services, e-commerce, or retail operations.
- Familiarity with digital collaboration tools (Lark, Sheets, Notion, Trello, etc.).
- Exposure to scaling companies or multi-location operations.
Personality Traits
- Highly proactive and resourceful.
- Natural driver — pushes progress without waiting to be told.
- Calm under pressure, solution-focused.
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional maturity.
- Detail-oriented yet able to keep a big-picture view.
