Job Summary

The Technical Support - SRE (L2) position functions within the Production Support team under the Tech & Ops division of Standard Chartered. The ideal candidate will actively participate in developing and deploying Big Data projects and solutions that align with the CPBB Data strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively participate in the Production Support team and project drives.
  • Take ownership of reported incidents and collaborate with the L3/project team to ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage change requests by coordinating with Primary and Secondary implementers to secure necessary approvals.
  • Conduct thorough impact and root cause analyses.
  • Evaluate user-reported issues and deliver effective solutions.
  • Monitor the application during critical hours.
  • Perform regular application health checks.
  • Engage in application-related changes by conducting impact analyses, reviewing with Primary and Secondary implementers, and obtaining their approvals.
  • Ensure timely closure of remedy tickets, resolving all within specified deadlines.
  • Coordinate with vendors for application support.
  • Provide 24x7 support, including night and weekend coverage.
Skills and Experience
  • Possess knowledge of Incident Management and Change Management processes
  • Have prior work experience in the Retail Banking domain and understand retail banking products, with training provided
  • Have at least one year of experience in the end-to-end SDLC process using waterfall or Agile methodologies
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies
  • Have experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipeline deployment
  • Understand technology Risk Management processes comprehensively
  • Identify, mitigate, and monitor delivery risks for projects
  • Have experience in Project Governance reporting to the Project Working Group or Steering Group
  • Experience in Hadoop, Python Programming & Technical Documentation
  • Good To have Skills – DevOps, SRE Engineer
