Purpose of the Role

The Global Masterdata Governance (GMG) team ensures that all master data across our systems is accurate, consistent, and easy to understand. This is essential for smooth global operations and high‑quality data management. We are a global team and consist of specialists in different areas who work together to maintain global data integrity and support global initiatives.

Key Activities
  • Delivering first and second level support through JIRA within established service and operational agreements
  • Share expertise about the product and offer recommendations to enhance and advance global coding processes, particularly in data processing.
  • Assists Senior Specialists and Experts with medium to complex tasks by conducting root cause analyses and offering constructive feedback or recommendations.
  • Assist colleagues within the same industry sector during busy times and when they are on vacation
  • Perform Mastercoder tasks ranging from basic to moderately complex
  • Promote efficient coding by encouraging efforts to streamline features and definitions
  • Takes proactive and reactive measures to avoid or correct errors in the product database
  • Contributes to and recommends updates to global product definitions, coding manuals, and standardized rules for data coding process improvements.

Qualifications
Technical Skills
  • Good understanding of data coding process and its systems
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Basic knowledge in SQL
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel)
It would be considered as an advantage if you have:
  • Experience and knowledge in product data coding standards
  • Experience in data governance, master data management or similar roles
  • Good knowledge of NIQ product manuals in one or more product groups
