A leading autism behavioral center in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Special Needs Teacher (Interventionist) to support child development through play-based interactions. You will collaborate with teams and parents, providing therapy in various settings. The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in a relevant field, is adaptable, and possesses strong interpersonal skills. This position offers intensive training and a pathway into child psychology and special needs education. Immediate start is required on 24 November 2025.

Company Introduction

ABC (Autism Behavioral Center) was awarded the South East Asia Business Award as a Best Private Autism Intervention Clinic 2023. The center focuses on providing early intervention to children with Autism, learning and behavioural difficulties. We are looking for a dynamic and adaptable ABA Therapist. Prior work experience is not needed but a willingness to learn and passion for the field of early learning and intervention is a must!

To excel in this role, you must be playful, creative, and connect warmly to children. As an ABA Therapist, you must be willing to adapt, be resilient emotionally, be physically fit to play, and have a sense of ownership and responsibility. Intensive training will be provided before starting as a therapist.

This role provides a stepping stone for a career in child psychology, early intervention or special needs education.

Job Description
  • Support child development through intensive play-based interactions and clinical programs set by case supervisors.
  • Work with toddlers, pre-schoolers, school-going children, teenagers and adults.
  • Execute individual and group programs.
  • Work closely with the team/parents to implement goals.
  • Provide in-center services, home-based or school-based support (determined per case).
Job Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma or Degree holders in relevant field.
  • Open to commuting to and from clients’ homes for home-based therapy.
  • Work well in teams and be collaborative.
  • Work well under pressure and open to feedback.
  • Value continuous learning and always look for ways to improve.
  • Be an objective thinker and clear communicator.
  • Available to start immediately on 24 November 2025.
