The Role

The Sourcing Engineer plays a key role in bridging engineering requirements with manufacturing partners, mainly in China. You will manage technical sourcing activities, evaluate suppliers, and ensure alignment with cost, quality, and delivery expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, analyse, and fully understand technical sourcing requirements issued by UTILIS Group teams in France, Malaysia, and other international subsidiaries.
• Translate needs into clear and accurate specifications for suppliers.
• Identify, qualify, and engage with multiple manufacturers or suppliers, predominantly located in China.
• Assess suppliers technical proposals, costing, and commercial terms to ensure alignment with group expectations.
• Coordinate closely with engineering requestors for technical validation and ensure compliance with internal purchasing procedures.
• Support supplier follow-up, negotiation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
