We are recruiting for a Solutions Architect for our Digital Transformation team. The Solutions Architect will design practical, high-quality solutions for specific programmes (i.e. ERP, Finance, POS, e-Commerce, AI etc.) that fit into the Enterprise Architecture blueprint. This is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Head of IT Transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design

• Translate business requirements into end-to-end technical solutions.
• Work with multiple stakeholders to define functional & non-functional requirements (scalability, security, performance).
• Map solution flows across applications, data, and integrations.
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise standards and security guidelines.

Technical Leadership

• Work closely with Enterprise Architect, Product Owners, Developers, Data Team, and Vendors.
• Produce technical artifacts: solution diagrams, sequence flows, interface specifications.
• Review vendor solutions and validate technical feasibility.

Delivery Support

• Guide development teams during the building phase.
• Support testing, deployment, and cutover.
• Troubleshoot deep technical issues across multiple systems.

Stakeholder and team collaboration

• Collaborate with various departments, such as IT, marketing, sales, and design, to align on goals and execution.
• Keep stakeholders informed and gather their feedback to ensure the platform meets their needs.
• Encourage a collaborative and performance-driven culture within the team and across the organization.
• Ensure the proposed solution and design is understood, implemented properly, and delivers benefits

Required Qualification & Experience:

• Has 6 to 10 years of experience in solution design
• Strong in application, integration, and cloud architecture
• Retail systems experience (ERP, POS, WMS, CRM, e-commerce) advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams
• Adaptable and comfortable working in fast-moving, high-growth environments
• Able to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language
• Proactive, resourceful, and able to drive solutions with minimal supervision
