Job summary

A leading global solution provider is seeking a Software Projects and Integration Manager to oversee the successful delivery of software projects. This role involves managing both technical and commercial aspects of projects and leading customer workshops to define requirements. Candidates should have a degree in IT or Software Development and at least 5 years of experience in complex project management. An understanding of warehouse management processes and logistics is essential. Travel within the APAC-MEA region may be required.

Software Projects and Integration Manager

Our client is a leading global solution provider for all areas of intralogistics. With innovative technologies and software, the family-owned company empowers customers to increase the efficiency and sustainability of their storage, picking, and transport processes and is shaping the future of intralogistics.

There are hiring for Software Projects and Integration Manager to join the team for successful delivery of the software projects both standalone and in conjunction with the automation.

Your role:
  • Overall project management of SW projects for new and existing customers.
  • Responsible for the technical and commercial aspects of the project within the software scope of works.
  • Overall solution integration management during site commissioning and ramp-up.
  • Lead workshops with the customers to define business requirements.
  • Be up to date with best-practice processes within the logistics industry.
  • Provide sales consultancy on software solutions including quotes and best practice processes.
  • Provide availability after hours for project-related work during commissioning, integration and ramp-up.
  • Generate quality user documentation as required within the project realization process.
  • Participate in commissioning and testing at customer sites as required.
  • This role may require travelling within APAC-MEA region to perform project-related work.
Requirements:
  • Degree level technical or commercial qualifications in: IT, Software Development, Logistics, Computer Science Degree or Programming Qualifications.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in a complex project environment.
  • Basic Logistic / Material Handling knowledge.
  • Advanced customer management skills.
  • Cost management, Supplier management, Quality process, Strong project documentation skills, Project Management certification, Supply chain certification.
  • Able to handle complex project management environment.
  • Good knowledge of warehouse management processes.
  • Know-how of industry-specific warehouse practices and regulations such as GAMP for Pharmaceuticals, Track-and-trace requirements, F&B specifics, etc.
  • Waterfall / Agile methodologies, Data analysis and query writing (SQL), Understanding of testing methodologies.
  • Project Management qualification and experience.
  • Fluent in written and oral English.
  • Good knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Experience in operating in a Waterfall Methodology.
  • Around 12 months experience in a complex software project environment.
  • Experience in intralogistics environment is desirable.
  • Competent in Software applications such as Jira, MS Project etc.
