MSR Green Energy Sdn Bhd – Rembau, Negeri Sembilan

MSR Green Energy Sdn. Bhd. ("MSR-GE"), a leading EPCC contractor in Malaysia’s RE sector, is seeking a competent and hands‑on Site Supervisor with over three (3) years of relevant site experience for a site‑based role under a fixed 2.5‑year contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in supervising daily site activities for utility‑scale RE projects, including Large‑Scale Solar PV ("LSS") and potentially Battery Energy Storage Systems ("BESS"), ensuring works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings and project requirements.

This position will be initially assigned for a short‑term stint at our Rembau, Negeri Sembilan LSS project site, before a subsequent redeployment to another LSS site in Bachok, Kelantan.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily site activities, including civil, structural, and general construction works for LSS projects.
• Ensure site works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, work schedules, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth execution of works and adherence to project timelines.
• Monitor work progress, manpower deployment, materials usage, and equipment on site; report any issues or delays promptly.
• Conduct routine site inspections to ensure quality of workmanship and compliance with QA/QC requirements.
• Assist in inspections, testing, and verification activities in coordination with QA/QC and engineering teams.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE requirements.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily site reports, site instructions, and progress updates.
• Support engineers in resolving site‑related technical issues and implementing corrective actions as required.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and authority representatives during site inspections and audits when required.

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of site‑based experience, preferably in Large‑Scale Solar PV, substations, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong practical understanding of site construction activities, sequencing, and coordination.
• Familiarity with Malaysian site practices, authority requirements, and construction standards.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and method statements.
• Good communication and coordination skills with subcontractors and site teams.
• Proficient in basic reporting and documentation using Microsoft Office.
• Valid CIDB Green Card is mandatory; additional safety‑related certifications are an advantage.
