Responsibilities
- Manage local and international logistics operations, ensuring efficient import/export processes and timely deliveries.
- Liaising with freight forwarders, shipping lines, port and customs authorities, and other logistics partners to facilitate the clearance and delivery of goods.
- Prepare, verify, and process all necessary documentation, such as customs declarations, invoices, packing list, HS Codes, bills of lading and certificate of origin.
- Tracking and updating the status of shipments, identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies that arise during the logistics process.
- Providing support and guidance to other team members as required.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar logistics, import/export, customs clearance role with knowledge of LMW licensing will be an added advantage.
- Thorough understanding of import/export regulations (local & international), familiar with HS Codes, customs clearance procedures, and other relevant logistics processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Mandarin speaking is an added advantage to working with China teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
