Job summary

A leading aviation group in Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Manager for Safety, Security & Compliance to develop and implement safety management strategies. The role involves ensuring compliance with national regulations, leading risk assessments, managing audit compliance, and improving emergency preparedness across operations. Ideal candidates will have a relevant bachelor's degree, Safety & Health Officer Certification, and significant experience in the aviation catering industry. Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in safety, health, or quality management in aviation catering or related operations.
• 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role experience.
• Strong knowledge of compliance with national regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage SHE strategies, policies, and goals.
• Ensure compliance with DOSH, CAAM, and airline requirements.
• Lead risk identification and control efforts.
• Manage internal auditing and compliance programs.
• Lead investigations of incidents and near misses.
• Maintain and improve the Emergency Response Plan.
• Monitor and report performance metrics.
