Job summary

The ideal candidate will have at least a diploma in Mechanical Engineering, solid troubleshooting skills, and experience with CRAC units and chillers. Responsibilities include optimizing system performance and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in dynamic environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in HVAC systems.
• Certifications in HVAC or related fields preferred.
• Hands-on experience with CRAC units and chillers.

Job description

• Lead theinstallation, commissioning, testing, maintenance, and troubleshootingof cooling systems (CRAC units, chillers, cooling towers) in data center environments, ensuring correct setup, integration, and optimal performance.
• Monitor system performance, analyze data for inefficiencies, and implement corrective measures to improve energy efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain thermal stability.
• Performroutine maintenance,calibrations, and repairs on HVAC systems; respond promptly toemergency breakdownsand prioritizeurgent repairsto minimize downtime in critical operations.
• Recommendenergy-saving measuresandsystem upgrades; provideexpert adviceto clients onsystem optimization, cooling loads, and thermal managementaligned with sustainability goals.
• Prepare accurateservice records and reports; provide clients withclear updates on system status, recommendations, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Ensure all service workadheres to safety standards,regulations, andindustry best practices, creating a safe work environment at all times.
• Represent thecompany professionally;identify and relay sales opportunitiesto head office duringservice activities.

Job Requirements:

• At least aDiplomain Mechanical Engineering
• Certifications or vocational training in HVAC or related technical fields are advantageous.
• At least 3 years’ experiencein related field
• Exposure toData centre ispreferred.
• Hands-on experience withCRAC units, chillers, cooling towers, thermal management systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills formechanical, electrical, and refrigerant systems.
• Familiarity withthermal load management, energy efficiency best practices, and data centre infrastructure.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software forHVAC systems(BMS, airflow meters, temperature sensors).
• Willing to travel regularly (day-to-day basis)and be on-call or work overtime/weekends as needed.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, time management, and customer service orientation.
• Able to work independently, in teams, and handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
