A leading engineering firm in Bandar Baru Bangi seeks a motivated individual to install and service dehumidifier units. Responsibilities include performing maintenance, troubleshooting control systems, and providing technical support to customers. Ideal candidates possess a degree in relevant fields and experience in PLC systems. This role requires strong communication skills and a willingness to travel frequently. Good knowledge of Rockwell Automation systems will be advantageous. Working hours are Monday to Friday with alternate Saturdays.
Perform installation, testing, commissioning, and servicing of Bry-Air dehumidifier units and control systems at customer sites.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal system performance, reliability, and energy efficiency.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues on-site or remotely.
Specialize in PLC and HMI systems configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Having experience in any of the below mentioned will be added advantage;
Conduct performance verification and ensure systems operate within design parameters (temperature, humidity, dew point, etc.).
Provide technical support and guidance to customers during service visits or breakdown calls.
Prepare and submit service reports, maintenance records, and feedback forms after every site visit.
Coordinate with engineering, production, and project teams for technical solutions, parts replacement, and continuous improvement.
Attend to emergency service calls, shutdown maintenance, and scheduled inspections as required.
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronic Engineering.
1 - 2 years of field or service experience in PLC-controlled systems, preferably in HVAC, process control, or industrial equipment service.
Strong knowledge in Rockwell Automation systems; experience with Siemens or Mitsubishi PLCs is an added advantage.
Proficient in PLC programming (Ladder Logic, FBD, ST) and HMI configuration.
Basic knowledge of temperature, pressure, RH, and dew point transmitters, RTD sensors, and actuators.
Skilled in preventive maintenance planning, execution, and documentation.
Self-motivated, able to work independently, and adaptable to dynamic site conditions.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service–oriented mindset.
Willingness to travel frequently, including interstate or international assignments.
Possession of a valid driver’s license.
Working hour: Monday to Friday & alternate Saturday (0830 to 1230 and 1330 to 1730)
