A reputable manufacturer in Shah Alam is seeking a Senior Technical Sales Engineer specializing in precision machining for the European market. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing account management plans, and collaborating with engineering teams. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of industrial sales experience, preferably in the high-tech sector. Proficiency in CRM software is essential. Fluency in English is required, with additional languages viewed as an advantage.

Senior Technical Sales Engineer, Precision Machining, European Market

Our clientis a reputable manufacturer of precision components and modules in high-mix low-volume, with specialization in very complex machining, high surface finishing and product cleanliness.They are an established supplier for many major global players in the Optical, Semicon, Diagnostics, Medical, and Life Science industries.

Job Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for sales target of assigned customer accounts in overseas and local sales territory.
  • Develop and implement account management plans, tactical sales plans and marketing plans and activities to meet business development goals.
  • Execute both international and local exhibitions, customer visits as well as online meetings to meet existing and prospective customers regularly.
  • Conduct sales and market analysis periodically to manage sales growth and identify sales opportunities with existing accounts as well as generate high potential new leads.
  • Responsible for reporting of customer accounts and territory performance, and track sales opportunities progress in CRM and ERP systems.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and quality teams to facilitate the fulfilment of customers sales enquiries and orders.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields experience in semicon, precision engineering, or metrology is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 - 6 years of industrial sales experience with a proven track record in high-tech sectors.
  • Professionally trained in sales management and advanced selling skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 CRM or any CRM software is a must.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills. Additional language skills in German, French or Japanese is an added advantage.
  • Positive attitude, service oriented, assertive, with lots of drive.
  • Ready to independent travel abroad, especially in European countries, with international driving license.
