Job summary

A leading supply chain organization in Malaysia is looking for an experienced professional to supervise and optimize their supply chain operations. The role requires a strong background in procurement with at least 10 years of experience and leadership skills to drive a performance-oriented team. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree, ideally with certifications like CPSM and a preference for experience in CNC Machining and medical devices manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related roles, with at least 5 years experience managing people.

Responsibilities

• Develop and establish standard operational policies for supply chain management.
• Lead and manage the SCM team to achieve KPIs and support organizational growth.
• Ensure inventory control and meeting pre-agreed targets.

Skills

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices and strategies

Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge of contract law and supplier relationship management

Leadership and team management experience

Education
