Job summary

A leading player in the Food Manufacturing Industry is seeking a Supplier QA Senior Executive based in Selangor. The role involves overseeing quality control for finished product releases, managing supplier audits, and ensuring compliance with food safety systems like GMP and HACCP. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Food Science or related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. This position is crucial for supporting the company’s expansion efforts and maintaining high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or Food Engineering with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in food manufacturing.
• Proven experience managing quality assurance and food safety systems in a manufacturing environment, including GMP, ISO, and HACCP.
• Hands-on experience conducting internal and external audits; certified Lead Auditor is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provided quality control oversight for finished product release, on-hold decisions, and coordination of supplier quality issues.
• Verified QA Assistant data entry activities, ensuring accuracy, risk-based evaluation, and evidence-driven release or rejection decisions.
• Performed and supported incoming inspections of supplier materials and products against defined specifications.
• Managed acceptance and rejection decisions for incoming materials, ensuring timely documentation updates and supplier communication.
• Led supplier audit and compliance programs, including audit planning, execution, CAPA tracking to closure.
• Acted as QA lead for new supplier and product qualification, reviewing supplier documentation, risk assessments.
• Drove supplier quality improvement by managing non-conformances and preparing performance reports.
