Job summary

A construction firm in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Site Surveyor cum Supervisor to lead daily site operations and ensure compliance with construction standards. The ideal candidate has a Diploma/Degree in Construction or related field and 3–8 years of supervisory experience, preferably in high-rise projects. You will manage subcontractors and site resources, resolve issues, enforce safety standards, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of experience in construction site supervision, preferably high-rise.
• Strong knowledge of architectural, structural, and M&E works.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and method statements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily site operations, including subcontractors and workers.

Lead and manage daily site operations, including subcontractors, workers, and suppliers.

Supervise architectural, civil & structural (C&S), and M&E works to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.

Plan and monitor work schedules, manpower allocation, and site resources.

Ensure high standards of workmanship, quality control, and site safety are maintained.

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and site issues promptly.

Coordinate closely with Project Manager, consultants, and other stakeholders.

Monitor progress and prepare detailed site reports and documentation.

Oversee material deliveries, storage, and usage on site.

Enforce site safety rules, housekeeping, and environmental compliance.

Mentor and guide junior site supervisors and site staff.

Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Construction Manager.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

Minimum 3–8 years’ experience in construction site supervision (high-rise experience preferred).

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Sound knowledge of architectural, structural, and M&E works.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and method statements.

Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Strong commitment to safety, quality, and timely project delivery
