Job description
Overview

Responsible to attend and complete the service request assigned and provide coordination and monitoring in preventive and reactive maintenance work in data centre infrastructure. Supported in ad‑hoc minor project activities. Shift pattern 12 hours, 4 days work and 4 days off.

Operation Function
  • Managing and coordinating service provider performance including tracking work order completion and validating invoices.
  • Providing facility specific assistance to the project management team as needed or requested.
  • Ensuring all site management and operations practices comply with company and client standards.
  • Communicating and escalating with appropriate parties (facility manager, client, OEM vendors, etc.) as needed.
  • Working with Service Center to ensure average turn around time (TAT) is within agreed KPI thresholds.
  • Creating a weekly report to assist management in reviewing incidents to determine operational losses.
  • Cultivating and maintaining a positive working relationship with client representatives (JLL or external) and service providers.
  • Performing day‑to‑day oversight of work order completion and follow‑up with service provider and client.
  • Recommending continuous quality improvement practices across the client portfolio.
  • Creating recurring maintenance schedules for vendors.
  • Supporting the Facilities Manager with assigning tasks to technical resources.
  • Supporting Facilities Manager on arranging PPM contractors for JHA, worker name list and confirming dates for the servicing.
  • Assisting Facilities Manager to source any material that requires purchase.
  • Assisting in requesting permit to work supporting documents from contractor before schedule for any work.
  • Supporting check on the safety induction validity for contractor.
  • Communicating and coordinating relationships.
Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)
  • Ensuring the site provision of a safe working environment and compliance to HSE standards.
  • Under taking Job Hazards Analysis (JHA).
  • Working closely with HSE Executive in overall planning, executing and delivering HSE procedures to all activities at site.
  • Providing general overall facility management services including continuous monitoring of office/facility.
  • Acting as an interface with client, visitors and guests.
  • Ensuring appropriate follow up with customers.
  • Providing direction/information to vendors, facilities staff and service providers, ensuring excellent coordination and execution of work within client environment with minimal disruption.
Compliance
  • Coordinating portfolio and responsibility changes with data management team to update location service matrix as needed.
  • Training vendors/engineers on all applicable software platforms as needed (CMMS, etc.).
  • Electrical distribution (Low Voltage) coordination work.
  • Any and all duties/tasks as assigned.
  • Responsible in space planning for allocation and utilization of space or re‑organizing current premises for new building occupants including plotting and updating floor layout plan on AutoCAD.
  • Arranging/monitoring contractor on PTW process.
Qualifications
  • Degree in any Engineering field.
  • 3 – 4 years of relevant experience in engineering or in manufacturing sector.
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience in the operation of electrical and mechanical services in Tier III or equivalent data centre or critical facility is an advantage.
  • Critical environment experience within similar sized site or operation.
  • Experienced with continuous improvement initiatives and preparation of reports.
