Job description

Overview

The primary function of the role is to provide on-site service solutions to deck equipment and life-saving appliances.

Responsibilities

• Provide service solutions to deck equipment and lifesaving appliances which includes commissioning, inspection, maintenance, spare parts repair, refurbishment, upgrades, hook replacement, etc.
• Familiar with local shipyards and port procedures
• Generate service reports after each job with relevant details and accuracy
• Submission of claims, overtime and overseas allowances
• Report comments and feedback from customers to Service Coordinators or Service Manager
• Attend training and ensure that the technical skills and product knowledge are kept up to date
• Ensure the validity of relevant certifications to carry out service jobs, and renew accordingly for expiring certificates.

• Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally with offshore exposure
• Willingness to travel on short notice and going offshore
• Basic computer and MS Office skills
• Strong command of English
