Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Renewable Energy, or related fields.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of sales experience, ideally in solar, BESS, EPC, or energy solutions.
  • Proven experience leading a sales team and achieving revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a sales team of individual contributors, set targets, and monitor performance.
  • Drive large-scale business development in Malaysia and overseas for solar and renewable energy projects.
  • Build and maintain strategic customer relationships while expanding new markets and key accounts.
  • Track sales pipelines, analyze conversion rates, and implement strategies to improve closing success.
  • Provide coaching and sales training to team members to strengthen solution-selling capabilities.
  • Oversee and participate in tender submissions, proposals, and technical–commercial negotiations.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, and Finance to deliver optimized project solutions.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, market insights, and performance reports for management.

Job requirements:

  • Experience in tendering for C&I, utility-scale, or international projects is a strong advantage.
  • Strong sales acumen with a solid track record of closing high-value projects.
  • Ability to develop long-term business relationships and strategic partnerships.
