In 2018, Metarom Asia has been established to serve the South East Asian region with laboratories, liquid and powder flavour manufacturing facility as well as sales office (our website: metaromasia.com).

With a strong presence in Southeast Asia, we are expanding our team and looking for a talented Senior Sales Executive to help drive growth in Malaysia and across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Acquire new clients in Malaysia, particularly in the bakery, beverage, dairy, and nutraceutical sectors.

Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers and distributors in Malaysia and Indonesia.

Promote and sell our range of high-quality flavoring solutions to food and beverage manufacturers.

Execute sales strategies to drive turnover and increase market share.

Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities, trends, and potential partners in the region.

Collaborate closely with the technical and R&D teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.

Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to management.

Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients, ensuring consistent follow‑up and relationship management.

Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to represent the company and build brand awareness.

Key Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Business or related subjects.

Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the food and beverage industry.

Network and relationships within the F&B industry in Malaysia is a plus.

Proven technical sales experience with the ability to communicate product benefits effectively.

Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and negotiation skills.

Organized and able to manage multiple clients.

Willingness to travel regularly within Malaysia and Southeast Asia if required.
