Senior Product Technician - DRB based in Ipoh

Monitor, maintain and qualify equipment, tools/ fixtures for production used. Perform periodic verification and calibration on equipment/ tools/ fixtures

Apply lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste in the production process and improve yield.

Seeking a detail-oriented candidate with proven experience in epoxy bonding processes to manage and execute high-precision assembly tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Experience with optical alignment machines is a significant advantage for this position, as it will enhance the candidate's ability to achieve precise and accurate equipment setups.

Observational skills to notice discrepancies, understand the manufacturing process in detail, troubleshooting at an appropriate level and involving senior members of staff

Communication skill to communicate and interface well with peers, enhance teamwork

Derive Continual Improvement and use of resources

Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Diploma of Engineering preferably majoring in Mechatronics or Mechanical or Electrical.

Minimum 2 years of working experience in MNC industries, preferably 3 years’ experience working in high mix and high-volume manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.

Willing to work on 12-hours shift, independently and able to solve basic technical issues.

Good computer literacy, SPC & OPAC knowledge.

Must exhibit a strong sense of analytical skills with hands on working attitude.

Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes to the business needs of the company.

Good knowledge of mechanical dimensioning & tolerancing analysis, poka-yoke principles will be an added advantage.
