Ingram Micro Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Pre-Sales Technical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our clients' technology requirements and driving the success of our business.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers on a wide range of IT solutions, including system, storage and backup technologies
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate technology solutions
  • Conduct product demonstrations, POCs and workshops to showcase the capabilities of our offerings
  • Assist in the pre-sales process by preparing technical proposals, presentations and other sales collateral
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies and competitive landscape
  • Contribute to the development of training materials and share technical knowledge with the wider team
  • Provide post-sales support to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction
What we’re looking for
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a pre-sales or technical support role, preferably in the IT / Technology industry
  • Strong technical expertise in system, storage and backup solutions, with a good understanding of related technologies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into business-friendly terms
  • Proven track record of successfully collaborating with sales teams to drive customer engagement and close deals
  • Hands-on experience in conducting product demonstrations, POCs and customer workshops
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and customer-centric approach
  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
