Company Overview

Ye Chiu Group is a multinational recycled aluminum alloy manufacturing group with operations across China, Malaysia, and the United States. The Group operates multiple manufacturing plants and corporate sites, supported by a centralized IT organization responsible for enterprise infrastructure, security, and governance.

Group IT oversees network architecture, connectivity, and security across all regions to ensure stable, secure, and scalable operations that support both manufacturing and business activities.

Position Overview

The Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer is a Group-level technical role responsible for the design, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of the Group’s network and network security infrastructure.

This role covers routing, switching, cross-site connectivity, network security, and network-related platform services across multiple countries and sites. The position works closely with local IT operations teams and the Group server / systems team, providing technical leadership and escalation support for complex network-related matters.

The position reports directly to the Group IT leadership.

Job Responsibilities

1. Group Network Architecture & Operations

• Design, implement, and maintain Group-wide network architecture across China, Malaysia, and the United States
• Manage routing and switching infrastructure between offices, data centers, and manufacturing plants
• Ensure stable, secure, and scalable WAN and inter-site connectivity
• Support complex network scenarios such as inter-plant switching, routing, redundancy, and high availability

2. Routing & Switching Infrastructure Management

• Manage and support routers and switches across multiple vendors, including:
  • Cisco / Meraki
  • H3C
  • Huawei
• Standardize network configurations, best practices, and operational guidelines across sites
• Oversee network device lifecycle management, performance, and reliability

3. Network Security & Firewall Management

• Design and operate Group-level network security architecture
• Manage and maintain firewall platforms, primarily Fortinet
• Define and enforce network security policies, segmentation, and access controls
• Identify, assess, and mitigate network security risks and vulnerabilities

4. Network-related Platforms & Services

• Support network-related services deployed on cloud or virtualized platforms
• Maintain and improve services related to network access, traffic management, and security
• Work with Linux-based environments and containerized platforms to support network and infrastructure services
• Ensure reliability, security, and proper documentation of network-related platforms

5. Cross-team Collaboration & Technical Leadership

• Work closely with local IT operations teams across regions
• Coordinate with Group server and systems teams on network-related requirements
• Provide technical guidance, escalation support, and best practices to IT teams
• Act as the Group-level subject matter expert for network and network security

Job Requirements

1. Experience & Technical Expertise

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in network infrastructure and network security roles
• Strong hands‑on experience with enterprise routing and switching
• Proven experience supporting multi‑site, multi‑country network environments
• Solid understanding of network security architecture and firewall platforms (Fortinet preferred)

2. Technology Exposure

• Experience with Cisco / Meraki network environments
• Exposure to multi‑vendor network infrastructure (e.g. H3C, Huawei)
• Experience supporting network‑related services using cloud platforms and container‑based environments
• Familiarity with Linux‑based systems and infrastructure services
• Experience with IP telephony systems (e.g. 3CX) is an advantage

3. Professional & Communication Skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Able to work independently as a senior technical contributor
• Comfortable collaborating with IT teams across regions and functions
• Able to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• High level of responsibility, professionalism, and security awareness
