Senior Merchant Service (Based in Sungai Petani)

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Senior Merchant Service Executive to join our team at AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad in Sungai Petani, Kedah. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with our merchant partners, ensuring they receive exceptional service and support.

What you'll be doing

Proactively engaging with existing merchant partners to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions

Acquiring new merchant partners by identifying and pursuing promising leads in the local market

Negotiating and closing merchant partnership agreements to expand our network

Providing on-site support and training to merchants on the effective use of our services

Resolving any merchant queries or concerns in a timely and professional manner

Monitoring merchant performance and identifying opportunities for growth and cross-selling

Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement targeted campaigns

Maintaining detailed records of all merchant interactions and transactions

What we're looking for:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales or account management role, preferably in the financial services or retail industry

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with merchants

Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences

Familiarity with financial products and services, as well as the ability to understand and explain complex terms and conditions

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

A valid driver's license and the ability to travel within the local region as needed

Being able to converse in Mandarin and Hokkien is an added advantage
