Main Purpose of Position:
The Marketing Manager / Senior Marketing Manager – Care Chemicals will lead the marketing and commercial strategy for the Care Chemicals division, ensuring strong positioning of the product portfolio in personal care, home care, and hygiene markets. The role covers marketing, key account sales, pricing strategy, and market research to drive sustainable business growth.
Main Responsibilities:
Marketing & Product Management
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for the Care Chemicals product group.
- Define portfolio positioning, value propositions, and promotional initiatives.
- Lead product lifecycle management, including launches, phase-outs, and innovation pipeline.
Sales & Key Account Management
- Manage sales for strategic and key accounts within the Care Chemicals segment.
- Build and strengthen customer relationships to drive growth and long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure alignment between marketing strategy and sales execution.
Pricing & Profitability
- Define and implement pricing policies for the product group, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
- Monitor market dynamics and cost structures to support pricing decisions.
- Provide strategic guidance on margin management.
Market Research & Intelligence
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and regulatory monitoring to identify new opportunities.
- Translate insights into actionable business strategies and innovation priorities.
- Prepare market intelligence reports for management decision-making.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor the marketing team to deliver high performance.
- Ensure close collaboration with R&D, sales, and supply chain for seamless execution of business strategies.
- Manage marketing budgets and measure ROI of initiatives.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, including at least 5 years in care chemicals (personal care, home care, hygiene, or specialty chemicals).
- Proven experience in marketing, sales, pricing, and market research.
- Strong commercial acumen with ability to balance growth and profitability.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
